I've put new cleats in my shoes, I've got a dozen new balls, bought a new glove, new tee pegs, taken my clubs out and put them back in properly. I'm about to have a fecking disaster. :?

Best bet is those elastic straps with hooks on you use on roof racks. Ideal.

Ahhh, I knew there was something. No I haven't so thanks for the reminder, I'll get one tomorrow.

TD - Thanks for the tip but theres this bit at the bottom of my trolley that specifically requires a strap and clips.

Usually go with my son in his car youngmc, but thanks and I'll let you know later if that's okay. I'll either go with you or maybe see you up there, one or the other. Look forward to it.

All the gear out tonight (as if cleaning clubs makes you play better) check everything for the tenth time, dig out the trolley (golf bag's been standing in the hall for a week, wife tutting all over the place). Watch the match on TV tomorrow, out for a meal and then it's high noon (well, high 10-30 then). Bring it on..

My dearest, Caped Crusader pal....

I have been selectively quoted in the press I have his royalness as my winner and my money says he'll do it....

I therefore do believe that apology is required, but not from me ;)

That said, I hope that fun is the winner !! And all the boys enjoy it and play nicely and someone follows Commie round to make sure he doesn't throw his clubs away in a temper and you don't let the faux Scouse boy win ;) :)

Be good out there
