Congrats, AT - once he heard about your vote apparently Rumsfeld resigned.americantrotter wrote:No kidding. It's a flawed and complex system, but it's a damn good one overall. I much prefer it to Parliment. However I am obviously biased.

The Anti-Christ (george allen) conceeded! Happy Days.
To celebrate I will be getting well and truly leathered on Veteran's Day. (Well November 10th, the day I have off from work)
Which reminds me, thanks to all of those who do what you do, and all of those who did what you had to to protect the England and the World.

Isn't it in their constitution? Doubt even Arnie could change that...superjohnmcginlay wrote:I know but he's got plenty of time to get it changed.Village Idiot wrote:He can't. Not sure - do you mean the thread with the fish puns in it?communistworkethic wrote:amendments Crazy Horse, amendments, weren't we just talking about the 8th on another thread?

I'm out of my depth talking about any law, never mind American law to be honest, but I still can't see them changing the "born on US soil" thing for Arnie.

Or, to be more accurate seeing as he has not launched any such campaign himself, the current campaign that does exist for this amendment is unlikely suddenly to gather enough pace to take effect before the next election.

Yes, imagine how it would have been if the Britons had said no Romans, Angles, Saxons, Danes or Normans can be in charge. We might have got invaded.communistworkethic wrote:silly law for a country of immigrants really.
