I'm obviously missing something here.

The title of Miss Bolton 2007 was won by a girl from Chester.

Have we moved?

I take all this stuff with a pinch of salt as I can't get worked up on the 'wimmin's rights' stuff, yet think it's all a bit pointless.

However, try reading the readers comments in the BEN (for it will always be that, to me) article !!

Note the comment at the bottom. It must have come from a Blackburn fan.
Miss Bolton is great!

I wish my sister looked that good.

She's probably got an ego that's well able to cope with it. I see more attractive women than this walking about every day. Might be one of those unfortunate individuals who's mother entered her in everything since she was old enough to sit up; Miss Cornflakes etc. Like you, it think it's all a waste of time. Miss Bolton from Chester about sums it up.

The embarrassing thing is she also entered the Miss Chester contest the week before and lost.

There are some attractive young ladies of the opposite sex in Chester ... though she doesn't look like one of them !!

She is a bit of a beast. Now I don't think Bolton is a hotbed for female talent myself, but christ we've got better than that

Do a search on the BEN site. You;ll see that the gals who came 2nd and 3rd were far prettier (not that that says much!).

But don't get daxter15 started on this. He'll start posting up his weird collection of photo's of butch women!

Can't beat Chester Races if this is your most important criterion...
