Squadron Leader John Colin Mungo-Park DFC and Bar, Battle of Britain ace killed later in WW2. Although born in Wallasey he moved to Bolton in the mid 1930's. He was a solicitor, living in Astley Bridge. He joined the RAFVR in the late 1930's and was called up on the outbreak of war.
