Just had a feeling that the Frogs would win. Difficult semi for England against the Frogs in their own back yard, but nothing to lose by trying to do the same that they did against the Aussies. Keep it short and power over their pack.

well whoever we would get in the semis would be tough. you won't win this thing by not beating the best. i'm sure france will be favourites on home soil but our lot won't mind that too much. maybe, just maybe this team is getting into its stride at the right time. that's what's happened in most world cup's (bar us at the last one) - a team hits their stride part way through and comes on strong

Argentina did'nt play as they can, I think that they had an eye on next week, and it very nearly backfired.

If Scotland had'nt of made so many basic errors they they could well be playing England in 2 weeks time.

What might have been - but isn't....It was certainly close enough to suggest Scotland might have pipped it - but since they've only beaten Argentina once in 7 attempts (iirc) then the omens weren't as good as the scoreline suggests - brave effort though.

I'm all for betting that even if there is one Mrs Worthy will be a bit less than delighted if you so much as glance at it. Pleasant evening or "no-speaker", the choice is yours.

I, meanwhile, will be watching the ladies on Strictly Come Dancing, followed by France v England. Ouch.

I never did get the deal with van Outen myself. If there was ever an old slapper who needed a good slap that's her.

As for Kelly Brooke, I think she's just misunderstood...
