Soccer Aid
I thought the game was great to watch and I was really impressed with the performance of Wanderers fan Danny Jones from McFly.

Decent entertainment for a good cause. Impressed with the commitment of non-footballers Jones, who was tireless up and down the wing, Chris Fountain and Jonathan Wilkes in defence. Everybody, even the pros, really entered the spirit of the thing. Logan and Lara were impressive for the Rest.

Don't be daft, who needs compassion when you've got fantastic marketing opportunities in a large televised charity event.fozzy wrote:A good cause yes, but the cynical side of me wonders a) how much said celebs were paid in appearance fees? and b) why don't said rich celebs just donate the money themselves?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
