The very best: "Miracle on 34th Street". Still the Christmas classic for me.

Have to watch that film at least twice every year. Gave it my first watch last night. So, so good.

Zombie Holocaust (aka Dr Butcher, MD)

Whilst not explicitly about Christmas, I feel the underlying message of the film is one which reflects the Christmas spirit.

Santa's Slay is a new DVD about the white-bearded one going on a Christmas Eve murder rampage, stabbing people with icicles!

Gremlins is a good Christmas set film... but I've never really got into much else that's festive-themed, find 'em too mawkish to be honest.

What about Black Christmas?
Remade a couple of years ago with Dawn out of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

There appear to be some disturbed people on this site! It's a Wonderful Life would get my vote as the all-time classic.

Brilliant film.

Oh come on, it isn't strictly a christmas film, but it's a classic and is shown pretty much every year - I would've thought it'd be on here by now.

What was the movie (released last year?) that has santa as a whisky-sodden, foul-mouthed gangster on his annual heist? Laugh out loud funny. great parody of christmas mush.

The film you may be referring to William is called Bad Santa with Billy Bob Thornton, and it's ace. It's on C4 over Christmas.

Yep, really need a few bombs and submachine guns to get that good old Christmas spirit going.
