Did whoever is on page 3 today impart words of such wisdom they made the paper light up, as per?

Too right. Nikkala was amazed to hear about the couple caught bonking on the lawn of Windsor Castle.

We all know this is serious, but as usual the Media blow everything out of proportion. Yes there's a disease...now come join the billions of others who are killing people everyday. Yes we should keep an eye out and bee careful but thats only the same as everything else.

Eventually we'll all end up living inside little bubbles. No wonder (and no offense to anyone) that there are so many allergic people these days. Yes it is notice more than it used to be as it is picked up quicker, but there has also been an increase as the immunities to certain allergies have dropped with the sterilisation of everything, from toilet seats to candy floss.

“in my day, there were plenty of fellas who would kick your b****cks off. The difference was that at the end of the match they would shake your hand and help you look for them!”

I heard if you get it you turn into a little piggy, with trotters (COME ON YOU TROTTERS!), a snout and a little piggy tail that sticks out of your kex in a charming way.

That's what I heard anyway.

Looks like the birds have had the last laugh on the 'flu front.

Nice knowing eveyone.

I WILL SURVIVE!

I've just realised ... this Swine Flu is all a big scam .... it just translates to Pigs Flying
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

The threat from infectious disease is there, don't dismiss everything out of hand but there are a lot of 'ifs' and but's along the way.

The big thing about Bird Flu last year that was 'going to kill 40,000 people in Britain alone' was all based on the eventuality of the virus mutating so it could be passed from birds to humans. Well there's a possibility that I might mutate into a Godzilla and rest assured 40,000 would be a walk in the park if I did.

The way GMTV and the rest jump on the scaremonger bandwagon will eventually lead to a 'boy who cried wolf' reaction from the public and will we be prepared?

Epidemics happen. How many did Spanish 'Flu wipe out? We can't be complacent but we can't get hysterical.

When I am the last person left on the planet they'll be some changes around here I can tell you.

If you're talking the 1918 disaster, anywhere between twenty and a hundred million people is the estimate. A third of the world's population is quoted as having died in the two years it lasted. Sobering thought.

So it's heaped untold suffering on the people of Mexico, yet when placed under the microscope its reputation turns out to be largely overblown, fed by hype and media sensationalism...

Wait a minute, this sounds more like Sven flu!

Yep - we've already got 30m Tamiflu, probably a loads more after this one. Each 'crisis' leads to more stockpiling of medication.
