Possibly, for me though it was when he went from criticising TV to being part of the system. Is often much easier standing outside the tent and pi$$ing in...Bruno wrote:Possibly, for me though it was when he went from criticising TV to being part of the system. Watched Supersave Me on BBC2. Fronted by the usually excellent Merryn Somerset Webb, it was basically a braindead idiot's guide to why our money is now worthless. Dumbed-down waste of a good topic, stitched together with terrible puns ("So, George believes that investing in classic fast cars will leave his finances in pole position!!!" - oh, do f*ck off).
Have you guys seen Next, again starring Mr. Cage? I imagine that might run 'Knowing' close in the ridiculous ending stakes...Bruno wrote:TANGODANCER wrote:Watched Nicolas Cage in Knowing. Disappointing.
Possibly the most ridiculous ending to a film ever.
"Young people, nowadays, imagine money is everything."
"Yes, and when they grow older they know it."
