Match Previews and Reports 2010/11

Post by ratbert » Fri Jul 30, 2010 3:53 pm

Yes, it really is almost time for proper football again, not that World Cup rubbish. And that means our evergreen series of match previews and reports, all of which will require volunteer writers.

Here are the opening salvo of fixtures:

14.08: Fulham (H) Preview-Tangodancer Report-truewhite
21.08: West Ham (A) Preview-Bruce Rioja. Report-Thebish
29.08: Birmingham City (H) Report-Prufrock
11.09: Arsenal (A) Preview Gary the Enfield . Report-Jakerbeef
18.09: Aston Villa (H)

Please sign up... many thanks. 8)

I don't mind doing either the Fulham report or the Brum one?

I'll take whatever report Prufrock doesn't get from those two, as my debut - it may be slightly rose tinted...

You take your pick pal, and I'll do the other, folk have had to deal with my spoutings before, so you take whichever is more interesting to you!

Well yesterdays draw means I shall go into the Birmingham game, for which I am doing the review, not having seen the Whites win in the Premier League, home or away, since the 22nd of December 2007. The opponents that day? Birmingham City. It's all set up surely for me to break my duck? It had better be, since I'm back on a season ticket this year!

We're still needing West Ham and Birmingham previews. Any takers out there?

Edit. West Ham filled.

Sorry pal, Ratbert sounded desperate. I'm sure you'll do the report justice, though.
