Actually, I agree entirely with that. It's just that there's this gushing forth from some lefties on here that clearly live in complete denial, and that are making absolute feck* of themselves. Hey-ho, it's their decision.

(now - unlike most of you, it seems, I don't believe there is such a thing/place as hell... but, going with that...)

It is the most "most pathetic, childish line" Bruce has "ever read anywhere" when it is suggested that Cameron, Osborne and the Tories should be consigned to hell...

yet - it is entirely laudable (and presumably not a "pathetic, childish line") to blanket-label all politicians as "c*nts" and suggest they should be consigned to hell..

have I got that right? It seems a little inconsistent to me.

I agree that politicians are in the main self-serving. I haven't mentioned sending anyone to hell. Where's this inconsistency that you're on about?

indeed you did Bruce. you agreed entirely with LK's idea - the idea that EVERY politician should be put on the list - and the list was the list of politicians being consigned to hell.

so.

first you said it was "pathetic and childish" to consign Cameron, Osborne and the Tories to hell

then you agreed "entirely" with LK that EVERY politician (ie. including Cameron, Osborne and the Tories) should be on the list of those being consigned to hell.

there's the inconsistency.

I still agree with LK if it helps the argument any.

I don't think there's an argument yet - Bruce just wanted me to help him out seeing the inconsistency. I'm a helpful soul!

I particularly liked the way that after his "speech" Osborne sat down with a big grin and was patted on the back by Cameron also sporting a big grin.

Cos when you're ripping up hundreds of thousands of jobs, destroying peoples lives and the like even if you feel you HAVE to do it, smiling and jocular pats on the back for the bloke delivering the message are really going to help people feel better.

This really is their wet dream. Bet they have sticky sheets every night.

Anyway - here's something from one of those whining lefties...

I agree with Osborne and Cameron and Co. - well done for ring-fencing overseas aid. It seems overseas aid will increase by MORE than our defence budget is cut.

well done Tories - and well done all you Tory-boy supporters on here - your guys did get summat right - and I offer credit where credit is due.

Which is great.. But what about the masses of people who will lose their jobs because of all these cuts. Wo will then not be able to do things like.. You know, pay their heating bills etc. Hence bringing them into "The most vulnerable" category aswell as the shite benefits that will be on offer despite many, many people putting money into the governments coffers for many, many years.

Forcing lots of people out of work doesn't end a recession. It starts a new one

Ah but you see you've missed two incredibly important points....

1) The private sector will ride like a knight mounted on a white stallion through the night to make up for the jobs shortfall even though it is predicted to suffer just as heavily as the public sector.

2) Cameron et al don't care.
