I might do that. I dramatised a Dickens story (The Chimes) for Bristol Old Vic about 15 years ago, so I'm interested in how this writer deals with the challenge.Bruce Rioja wrote:I'm amazed that you fell for my Tuesday evening ruse!William the White wrote:I'll be there tomorrow morning then...Bruce Rioja wrote:Cheers, William. Of the second half of the season I'm looking forward most to Romeo and Juliet. David Thacker is one of my favourite directors when it comes to Shakespeare. But I'm likely to catch everything.

Heideseck? Not bad at all, that stuff. Usually get a bottle for Christmas and end of term from parents at school.East Lower wrote:Went to Ichiban in Manchester - utter shite.
As for champers, well, Morrisons and Tesco are doing some fancy stuff beginning with H at £13 down from £40. Was nice, so bought two.

That's the one. I don't have much experience of champagne, but this seems nice.KeeeeeeeBaaaaaaab wrote:Heideseck? Not bad at all, that stuff. Usually get a bottle for Christmas and end of term from parents at school.East Lower wrote:Went to Ichiban in Manchester - utter shite.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

It's going to be weekend before I can get there now so I hope there's still some left then.

indeed - which (I think) is what Bruce was querying when he noticed you are only buying half a dozen! (though - encouraging you to buy more is not in his interests as he hopes there is some left for the weekend!)
