Anyway - apologies for being short. I thought you were a tad blunt, but 2 wrongs don't make a right.

We also missed Paul Jones and Thompson. Cannell did not play. For the record our team was Siddal, Ritson (sub Walsh), Dunne, Greaves, Nicholson, Allardyce, Byrom, Whatmore, G. Jones, Reid and Waldron.CAPSLOCK wrote:I think SuperMac missed the second replay

I could find them.... For this game at Leeds the Newcastle team was Mahoney, Nattress (sub Blackhall), Kennedy Barrowclough, Keeley, Howard, Burns, Cassidy, Cannell, Gowling and Craig.CAPSLOCK wrote:Did he not?
D'you have the Newcastle teams for both replays?

Yes, you were correct. Newcastle was missing Macdonald (flu), Craig and Nulty (broken jaw). apologies - I was watching hockey at the time and preparing for the Olympics.

Broken by Siddall in the first game. Preparing for the Olympics in 1976 eh? Still paying for them in 2006Montreal Wanderer wrote:I could find them.... And now I realize you were talking about their Mac, not ours.

Yes, sorry about that. I have no knowledge of football from the years 1964 (emigration) to about 2000 (arrival of the web), and somehow thought we were talking about Bolton players. Too many super macs around if you ask me.CAPSLOCK wrote:You told me he didn't play and plunged me into crisis....Montreal Wanderer wrote:I could find them....
