I'm a little sad to see him go out on loan. His record of being pretty much a one club player seems a little spoilt here but hopefully this'll do him the world of good and we'll get him back to fitness and back around the squad.

Beckham went on loan to Preston. Didn't do his career any harm.

Riccy G, blimey. Anyone know whereabouts he is playing tonight?

Can't see him making 400 for us unless we get to the Man City game and we can't move anywhere in the league table.

Supposedly had a hairy moment trying to chest it back to the keeper and it didn't make it, hit the post. Otherwise quiet but solid.

Once at...Chelsea...I think, a few years ago, where they were breaking and he stopped it with his arm. Above his head. He didn't have much of an excuse...

I think a decent month on loan could see him return and fight for a position. If he does alright and keeps his fitness up I don't see why not, Taylor and Petrov aren't exactly setting the world alight.

You think, you bastard think?! You mean the game Essien snapped TBH, middle of shin, in front of the referee who unsurprisingly didn't send him off and then that horrible little cnut had the gall to run up to the ref card waving after Ricky fooked up with a misjudged header. It was like the Wheater vs Wigan one, but they were through on goal. Sure it was only SWP tho, hardly 'clear goal scoring oppurtunity'. Did I mention Essian is a twunt? Coz he is.

I'd say so, they've probably both been ineffective as each other.

They've both had their good game, but on a whole they haven't been up to par with the rest of the midfield.

Might be making an idiot of myself again but didn't he get one against Everton at the end of one season. We were down at the time and came back and won the game with 10 players.

Hope he does well and gets back into shape. Would like to see him don the Whites kit one more time at least.

I thought it was N'Gotty or Jaidi. But I think Jaidi scored late on, and we won 3-2, if thats the game we're dicussing.

Bruno got sent off in the first half. Jaidi, Davo and Stelios scored
