Teenage angst....

Re: Teenage angst....
No problem. I get a bit touchy on this subject having lived a good portion of my life in Bangkok. I've met numerous paedophile's in my time including the infamous John Mark Karr. My best friend took the picture that got Gary Glitter busted, and has done numerous stories on similar cases over the years and been given me graphic details. In the end I do not distiguish that much between a 20 year old and older if in a relationship with a much younger girl or boy. I have had people in their 40's tell me their love stories that if you wiped out the fact the girl is 15 or younger, is quite sweet, but in reality quite sickening. Not confronted with it that much these days as Thailand is not the paedo friendly country it once was, but we still get our fare share of sickos.Gooner Girl wrote:No, i wasn't planning on introducing them, they know each other anyway, nothing to do with me. It wasn't even ME who suggested talking to her - he's asked me to, and i said yes but wish i had said no now.thebish wrote:seanworth wrote:Sorry maybe I used an extreme example. Still think you have to be mad and irresponsible for an adult to be introducing a 20 yr old to a 15 yr old girl.
I don't think GG is suggesting an introduction - they already know each other - she is suggesting finding out what the girl thinks... still not really something I'd want to get involved in - but not really that big a deal...
the real point is - he should talk to her himself if he wants to find out how she feels.

I know him outside of facebook and he added me. I wouldn't just add any random person as a fb friend - though that doesn't stop some weirdos trying to add me. if i don't know them i ignore them.officer_dibble wrote:HAng on...is it just me who finds it weird you make friends with 20 year old numpties on facebook? 10 years younger?
As for the age gap thing between me and him - i have lots of friends in their teens and twenties and lots in their fourties and even fifties on fb, i don't think thats weird at all if you know them? I make no rule that they have to be exactly the same age as me - who would?

Let's cut to the chase here (how come this always falls to me?) You're now a bit flattered by the thought that this 20 year old is up for rodgering you.

Look, I'm growing tired of this. I've pointed out your naivety before but you choose to drag the subject out. It's so evident that you're flattered by it whilst playing this mildly embarrassed 'oh, surely not' card. You need to understand that as boys turning into men we all go through this older woman thing. For me it was my art teacher, followed by a woman on my milk round and then my mate's mum. It's how it is.Gooner Girl wrote:I would possibly be if i actually believed what you all were saying but i think you're thinking the worst of the poor lad!Bruce Rioja wrote:Let's cut to the chase here (how come this always falls to me?) Alright, alright, i believe you, you know how the male mind works better then me but he does know i am married... Anyway, If thats the case i'm somewhat flattered, baffled and embarassed and will do my best to avoid him in the future... I do seem to like the older man myself so i suppose its possible he may like an older woman...Bruce Rioja wrote:Look, I'm growing tired of this. I don't know him THAT well, i know his dad better, but hes a spurs season ticket holder and when i go and buy my chicken/duck/dog/cat feed we often have a little bit of banter about the footy and when he added me on fb i figured i may as well accept so i could tease him about Spurs' crapness on there too!
Good luck turning 30 - its depressing. I feel old

I would not have put it that way, but it is in essence true. Indeed marriage can add spice and excitement to the adventure, not to mention obviating the need for long term commitment.Bruce Rioja wrote:Look, sorry, I'm really not trying to be rude or anything, but a standing cock has absolutely no conscience whatsoever. Oh GG ..... he may well never have had that thought ..... until you started listening to him, paying him attention, making him feel worthwhile. By now his jim-jams will be standing up on their own.Bruce Rioja wrote:Look, sorry, I'm really not trying to be rude or anything, but a standing cock has absolutely no conscience whatsoever. Really, really, I promise you.
