Allardyce once told me there's two types of captain: those who shout, and those who lead by example.

Insert your own John Terry joke.

More like Disseminator of Information. I interviewed him once a month for a year for FourFourTwo - this was back in Euro-qualifying times, 2005 I think – and then again up at the 'Bok for a detailed One on One interview. Nice office.

Would've been tough tits if he did - at that point I couldn't drive.

Big wooden desk with massive (18-inch wide) BWFC badge painted smack bang in the middle, facing the visitor. Well-stocked fridge. Comfy chairs. Plasma on wall, with DVD player, obviously. Historic BWFC moments framed on the wall. Ante-room for his secretary, whose main job on the afternoon in question was keeping the Tigger-like Phil Brown out of the room.

Windowless room (make of that what you will). Brown's Tiggerish behaviour was to loudly barrel into the sec's office, bouncing a ball and bawling "WHAR'S THE GAFFA? WAH? JORNALIST? OH FOR CHRIST'S SAKE...". Allardyce rolled his eyes benignly and said simply "Browny. He wants his afternoon game of head-tennis."

Wenger just seems to give it to the person he's scared will leave, to try and placate them -whether or not they are good captain material or deserve it (See Mr T. Henry, Mr C. Fabregas....) I bet Nasri gets it next once Fabs goes in the summer...
Much truth spoken here. Tell you what chuck, with all the love in the world for both players, we'll swap you SKD for Jack Wilshere...
Errrr.... Tempting... But NO!

You wanna compare trophy cabinets? :P And you have had 12 extra years to win them in so you should be miles ahead? Right?! Go on Bish, off you go and google how many times we have the league and cup compared to Bolton! :D

Funny, i don't expect there are any pictures at The Emirates of when Arsenal have knocked Bolton out the cup or beaten them in a league game. Its not important or abnormal enough to be classed as a 'historic moment' Especially not in the 4th round! ;)

Correct me if i'm wrong but the majority of 'historic moments' tend to be things like becoming league champions, FA Cup winners or games where you beat someone you really shouldn't (like when we beat barca this season :D ) Not winning 1-0 at home to a Scunthorpe United on a wet saturday afternoon?
