A beautiful summer's evening such as this calls for Champagne. As such, I've just opened a bottle that ASDA were knocking out cheap at Christmas. It's called Pierre Darcys, and the reason that they must've been selling it off cheap is because it's fecking shit!

It doesn't taste like it's corked or owt, but for something that, according to the label, has won awards - the only award I'd be bestowing upon it is the I've Had Better Prosecco award.

Cheap Champagne (a misnomer in itself) is mostly not worth the money. It needs drinking within a few months of release, so Asda are probably knocking out their stocks from christmas, or buying up the stocks of a producer who needs to shift it quick before its worthless.

Anyway, I'm enjoying a glass or two of Irouleguy that I picked up whilst being daily violated over in Paris (other might refer to this as "work").

I f*cking hate Paris. Wines alright though, for 6 euros.
