Re: Teenage angst....
Seriously, I say follow Bobo's advice to the letter, and as he attests, the young shaver will give it the old "yeah, as if...." denial, and he'll go away hurting, but not half as much as if you let this drag on.Gooner Girl wrote:Indeed, i can't say that cos he's never said he has, its just you lot assuming. Could be well embarassing. So what DO i say to him and how do i say it nicely?bobo the clown wrote:Being serious for a moment (sorry) ... I appreciate that turning round to him & saying "hey, I know you've taken a shine to me, but ...." will lead to "no I've not ...." and embarrasment all the way.
But you need to just cut him out of your life ... be a bit unpleasant if you must. Tell him whatever lies you need, just cut him adrift.
May the bridges I burn light your way

I think the point we're all missing here is - what level of poshness do you have to attain to have your pet food personally delivered??

They deliver to me for free (dunno if its the same for all their customers but i know the family who run the store obviously) and its a darn sight easier then loading 2 babies in the car, driving 15 min up the road and leaving said babies all alone in car whilst going to get the food, then struggling back with dog food, cat food, chicken and duck food.thebish wrote:I think the point we're all missing here is - what level of poshness do you have to attain to have your pet food personally delivered??

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Well, I'm going to butt out of this thread now, sit back, fold my arms and watch the whole slo-mo car crash.
