Could you do a 'stop press' fly sheet. Use beige/orange paper & call it 'The Buff' ??

If you do a search for The Green and The Buff, you'll find nowt.
(Although I remember them both - wasn't the green from the wrong side of the Pennines?)

No,they used to print it in vans outside Burnden in Nat's era. They had the match reports and final scores ready as you were leaving the ground ( black ink all over your fingers).Amazing. "Green Final, read all abard it" was the cry.Worthy4England wrote:That would be The Pink - obviously.TANGODANCER wrote:Nah, got to be the Green Final.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Now we're talkin'...bobo the clown wrote:Could you do a 'stop press' fly sheet. It was later replaced by The Buff, with The Tramp and all.

Case for the defence m'lord! Harry Redknapp maybe, allegedly, a tax dodging twitcher. (The twich by the way, a result of horrific injuries sustained in a car crash in Italy). And everybody is entitled to their opinion of him. So heres mine. I've met him a number of times, and can honestly state a more charming, amusing and generous individual you would be hard pressed to meet. He always has time for people (except interviewers who ask questions about money/transfers/tax); and would walk over hot coals to help someone out who was in need. A top, top bloke. 'Triffic.

So basically what you're saying is that in your opinion top-top-charming-amusing blokes shouldn't have the same tax obligations as the rest of us.Il Pirate wrote:Case for the defence m'lord!
