I'm not sure what's good about our only right back being injured.

I'm not sure what's 'good' about anybody being injured

Well, seeing as many on here liken him to a Keystone Cop, now we'll find out, won't we.

Surely what happened last season... Robbo on the right, Alonso on the left!?

I was going to say that we still don't have any kids on the bench but I've just looked and Blakeman made the bench at the weekend.

He's a liability more often than not. Boyata on loan would solve the problem. Steinsson's in the last year of his contract so we need to be looking at other options anyway.

He's shite and a liability for sure.

He's got enough on his plate with those shite tattoos before we start being pleased that he's broken a bone.

I'm just pleased that he won't be anywhere near our back four in the near future. Boyata's a done deal apparently.

I don't get why he's getting so much stick he's not as bad as everybody is making out he is.... you just have to look back to when we played Spurs and that was in the middle of when Bale was on fire and he closed him off and gave him nothing all game and offers us alot going forward and is one of the better full backs in the league when attacking.... he gives 100% every game and he doesn't do much wrong in my eyes!

Bolton fans need to have a pariah and a lesser-seen messiah every season. Taylor left this summer, leaving us with a vacant pariah spot. Our lesser-seen messiah (who isn't injured) at the minute looks like being David Wheater. Unless we're in the most unprecedented position of having our lesser-seen messiah not actually playing for us anymore. Step forward Ali Al-Habsi.

I'm sure that if he is signed Boyata will be eyed as temporary replacement for Steinsson at least until Ricketts is back in October. We'll still be thin at the back if GC goes.

NRC has played RB before and could be used if needs must. Not ideal but its an option that might be tried before we throw a youngster from the reserves in.

Well to be fair the Boyata deal was almost done beofe yesterday's game and before Steinsson's injury, so whatever he was eyed for, it wasnt as temporary replacement for injured Steinsson :)
