Ours slept right through from 8 weeks, and we were the envy of our friends for 2 years. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Much easier if you put them in their own room from the off though, is my advice. Our friends all without exception had a nightmare trying to sleep and trying to get their baby to sleep through, because they had them in their own room for the first few months. We whacked her straight in her own room from day 1, and it worked really well for her & us :)

She was in her little basket with us up until a month ago - slept through

Moved her into her own cot since then - slept through

She's in with us all the time though cos the mrs won't leave her on her own just yet

Tell her to get baby monitor on 8)

Great age when they're still in their basket and car seat, they just sit quietly in the pub next to you. Why we were so eager to teach her to walk & talk, with hindsight, i'll never know !

We've got one of those video ones but they're both dead clingy so it'll probably be approaching her 21st before the apron strings are cut

I didn't buy it 8)

If it had been my choice we'd have two cups tied together by string

Theres a new work experience lass at work, she is fitter than a butchers dog! only 18 too.

my boss's brother has the unit next door, and her sister is working there for the summer, 21. also fine.

tonight i am giving them a lift home to Haslingden - you reckon i ask them if they've ever seen 'Rita, Sue & Bob too'!?

Twins were in with us for first 5 months just cos it was so much easier feeding them at night. Didn't have to get out of bed.

Mine were also great sleepers until about a month ago when teething started and now one or the other of them (usually Jack) wakes in the night probably 5 or 6 nights out of 7.

And General - Tsk!

Our twins slept through from three months. Contented little babies. Tell them when to sleep, don't let Didi Amin decide or you'll end up with them in bed, tired, miserable.

Anyway today I'm happy that I'm off on holibobs in the morning. See you in a week or so...

Anywhere exciting?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
