Nixon tweeted last night that the Steinsson injury wasn't too bad! Didn't dare post it on here like....good news anyways.Bruce Rioja wrote:The BEN placard outside my local newsagents reads 'Whites Gretar Injury Boost'. I've no doubt that Lofthouse Lower agrees with the sentiment.
Re: Another injury FFS

Re: Another injury FFS
Thanks. Intriguing - Steiner would've been rested anyway. Could be a real second string team tomorrow night...

Most of the young lads played in the reserves last night only Riley and Bogdan didn't.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Thanks. Intriguing - Steiner would've been rested anyway. Could be a real second string team tomorrow night...

He's said Connolly and Blakeman will 'make the 18' which probably means on the bench and that they get 5-10 minutes at the end.Riviman wrote:Most of the young lads played in the reserves last night only Riley and Bogdan didn't.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Thanks. Its looking like some of the kids will get a run out whether we like it or not.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Re: Another injury FFS
So currently as long-term injuries, forgive me if I've forgotten anyone, we have
Ricketts
Alonso
Mears
Lee
Holden
Davis (what's the latest on him btw. Will he ever play again ?)
We've had whole season's with less out than this & breaks & similar too, so not poor training or prep issues. Just piles of poor luck.
Bit of a bugger really.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Especially as two of them are our best players.
Re: Another injury FFS
Ricketts will be LB when he comes back, IMO.

Over Robbo? RB and CD is Rickett territory. IMO.Prufrock wrote:Ricketts will be LB when he comes back, IMO.

Injured Sam Ricketts is ace at all three. Fully fit Sam Ricketts is an average right back, and ok in a crisis for the rest.

Oh yeah, the furore when we signed 'yet another full back'
We've signed 3 more since and he's still 'the best' we've got
