Not on this thread, but I'd be interested in any other historical stuff you came across.

thankyou - you're very kind!

if you want a larger version that needs less stretching - it is here:

there is also an original size linked there which would probably need shrinking rather than stretching...

That got me to a (very nice) picture of Carew Castle.

Edit: Oh, I paged back - that was what you were referring to. Sorry. I thought you meant Nest in bed.

HDMI cable is best and easiest if your laptop and TV have the output/input slots.

Otherwise VGA or S video or RCA.

Which roughly means tell Maplins what you want to do and they'll advise you and supply the cable. Maplins, it's the futue.

Chances are you'll have what you need at home in a box somewhere.

Of course.

You'll need to thoroughly wash your laptop in the shower before you start.

You can connect your laptop wirelessly if you want - you will need some hardware to do it. Do a google search for wireless connection to tv.

You can also stream wirelessly from your laptop to tv through certain games consoles eg XBox. I don't have one of those but again there's lots of info on the net.

Or go to the computer shop and they'll hook you up with what you need.

err... I'm missing what you mean by "marry up" then - you want to use your telly as your laptop screen? if so - attach the laptop to the telly with a cable... just the same as you attach your pc tower to your pc screen with a cable...
