Won't this loan cost us £2 Million?? Not much risk??BWFC_Insane wrote:Kakuta didn't have a medical with us.thebish wrote:meanwhile - it emerges that Benayoun did not have a medical before signing for arsenal - what with having spent most of last season with a serious achilles injury - that won't be a risk at all....
Not much time for last minute loans.
Not much risk either!

Are we sure that these contracts aren't signed 'Subject to Medical'?

We won't be paying 2M for a 6 month loan, probably not paying much as its a mutual favour. I suspect that we're cover a % of the players wages, if he was seriously injured though, I imagine its standard for them to return to their parent clubs.boltonboris wrote:Won't this loan cost us £2 Million?? As for Bruce's point, if they had a medical after the deadline, the registration would already have transferred. Hence the medical being fairly pointless as you couldn't return it back!

I thought your oracle stated the cost of it at £2MillionBWFC_Insane wrote:We won't be paying 2M for a 6 month loan, probably not paying much as its a mutual favour. The oracle also said we'd not sign N'gog. Then that we would afterall. Then that we really wouldn't. And then that actually we would. Then finally that we wouldn't.boltonboris wrote:I thought your oracle stated the cost of it at £2Million
And we did.

maybe not financially - but if he was signed as cover for wilshere's injury and then he breaks down - then quite a considerable risk, I'd say...

It's £750,000 loan fee and £15,000 per week wages for six months.

4 months, as I believe it expires on the 1st Jan. 18 weeks from 1st Sept which is 270,000 if your wages are correct. So £1,020,000

Not that I remember. I believe he was talking about a loan player who would be available for 2M on deadline day but don't think it was owt to do with us!boltonboris wrote:I thought your oracle stated the cost of it at £2MillionBWFC_Insane wrote:We won't be paying 2M for a 6 month loan, probably not paying much as its a mutual favour. There's more:
From Duncan Castles: "Almost no prospect of Park Chu-young evading South Korean military service. Means #AFC effectively signed him for two seasons."
I'll stifle my laughter at this one, though, as Chungy may be headed with him

Can they not just sort him out with the Korean equivalent of spud-bashing whilst he sorts his leg out?Sponge wrote: I'll stifle my laughter at this one, though, as Chungy may be headed with him

Chungy is a high school dropout which makes him ineligible for service.

I somehow think we have fewer hopes pinned upon Kakuta than they do on Benayoun!

To call Arsenal a bunch of wankers is an insult to those that like to roll one off the thumb.
Read this - beyond belief. I hope that they're please with themselves.
