Heard that someone punched Robbie Savage when he was on his way to watch United last weekend.

Thoroughly unpleasant behaviour from the puncher, but still, it's Robbie Savage.

Done the Endeavour and an English slave chaser so I've gone for a French Xebec (used both by the navy and Corsairs in the Med). Very fast but my slave-chaser will nail her in no time....and being French and all, will blow her out of the water.

Lots of builders prefer no sails, but I'll maybe have some in the furled position. Xebecs had lateen (triangular) sails, similar to Arab Dhows.

Spent* a couple of hours insulating the loft this morning so going to be warm and cozy and save thousands on my fuel bills this winter!

Special offer on top-up space blanket type insulation at B&Q where it's just £6 for a monster roll of the stuff. Full loft took just five rolls and its now almost a foot deep with it.

* Well, my wife actually did the work whilst I stood in the hatch and supervised. I'm far too big and clumsy to be crawling about in a loft space

You'll find a big difference C.I.G. Had cavity insulation done as well as loft insulation and the difference is absolutely amazing.

Summat I need to do, is that. Bizarrely, new house has cavity wall insulation but only about 2 cm of loft insulation. Can you not claim some money towards this kind of thing?

Don't quote me but I think you need to be either elderly or on benefits to claim for a grant like that.
