Thankfully before the shortlisting panel met there was an act of god that meant we decided not to recruit.

I suspect had that not happened he'd have had an intereview at the least!

See now I've worked at several engineering outfits where that is a prerequisite of getting the job. I used to work at Tyco on Oldham Road in Manchester and the hairy arsed animals on the first floor there turned farting into an art form.

It's of him sitting down right next to an open Kilt, and inside the Kilt looks something Ghastly! (was a fancy dress night)

Liverpool's a great place for C.Vs. Hobbies had, darts, cards, pub and gambling amongst others. We were once desperately short of welders and had a lot of work on. One of them arrived from the dole/job-centre and convinced the boss he was a top class welder and got an immediate trial. I gave him a job to do and explained in detail what was needed. When I went around checking the works, he'd made the biggest fxck-up you ever did see. It would have cost three times as much as the job was worth just to put it right. I fired him on the spot and he said: "What shall I tell em at the Job Centre?".

I replied: Tell them you're a good liar".

He just shrugged and walked off.
