One book I read, when talking about what not to do gave as a genuine example somebody who answered the question "What are your weaknesses?" with, "dishonest, incompetent and lazy"

Easily the best one I've had was a CV that all the way through ticked every single box until......

When it came to the "outside of work interests" the answer simply read "hardcore S&M"

Thankfully before the shortlisting panel met there was an act of god that meant we decided not to recruit.

I suspect had that not happened he'd have had an intereview at the least!

See now I've worked at several engineering outfits where that is a prerequisite of getting the job. I used to work at Tyco on Oldham Road in Manchester and the hairy arsed animals on the first floor there turned farting into an art form.

If you want to like something I made this ages ago, Lofthouse Lower said he would like but never did!
(I've found him on FB but can't try to be his friend or message him... only 'subscribe' )

It's stayed on 4 likes since the first month

(I won't probably even like it :? )

He came over today and....he has gotten dreadlocks! My partner and I bloody hate them! (his hair, not dreads in general!)
I miss his old hair

Someone Liked it before!!!

I don't think his name was Bruce though.

I want to post a picture to celebrate but the Artist does not want his face on there.

I've got a great one of him though, I didn't take the shot though
It's of him sitting down right next to an open Kilt, and inside the Kilt looks something Ghastly! (was a fancy dress night)

I don't want to post anymore of his artwork on Facebook though, as then they would own it. In the future I might joing Deviant art on behalf of him and then link to it on facebook

That sound like Stuart Lloyd who did work there a while ago.

Liverpool's a great place for C.Vs. Hobbies had, darts, cards, pub and gambling amongst others. We were once desperately short of welders and had a lot of work on. One of them arrived from the dole/job-centre and convinced the boss he was a top class welder and got an immediate trial. I gave him a job to do and explained in detail what was needed. When I went around checking the works, he'd made the biggest fxck-up you ever did see. It would have cost three times as much as the job was worth just to put it right. I fired him on the spot and he said: "What shall I tell em at the Job Centre?".

I replied: Tell them you're a good liar".

He just shrugged and walked off.
