The only possible remedies are whiskey, honey, lemons and chocolate. I've no chocolate - it's not looking good for me

Do you not know anything?Gooner Girl wrote: whats a Rivi Pike run?

Rivington Pike. It's the spot upon the picturesque hill that sits above our beautifully sited stadium (unlike your rubbish place)

Reebok looks a bit of a monstrosity on the beautiful landscape!
Ahh, so it's a huge hill.
why would anyone in their right mind run up there?!
Will send chocolate! My healthy eating diet is gonna start 1st January, all chocolate needs to be gone out the house before then or I won't stand a chance.

View of The Bok from the Pike = this,

but it's one of those rubbish pics that doesn't do the angle any justice.
Therefore you'll have to travel north with both your pumps, and with some choccie for me

Is that a nuclear insect, or a bomb, a kite? Or what?
Anyway if you runner folk are around we should go some TW-gay-runathon. I've started getting back into it again recently.

Seen this too late Pru. I'll let you know when I'm up next and I'll work a route out. N
Not sure about the gay bit but we're a broad church. I won't discriminate if you want to wear your slingbacks.

I think it involves keeping your arms straight, pointing your fingers out and flicking your heels whilst you run. Can't be sure though, so I'll check with Bobo and report backGooner Girl wrote:Gay running?! The mind boggles...

Just run 5 miles. Took 45 minutes but would have been faster had partner not had cramp. Felt good though. Could easily have gone further!

funny how some days doing even 3 miles is a huge effort and other days 5 miles can fly by in the blink of an eye!

Well done.

yeah - sounds like a drive out to me too!Gooner Girl wrote:Just run 5 miles. Took 45 minutes but would have been faster had partner not had cramp. Felt good though. Could easily have gone further!
I just ran 3.5miles and it took me 36mins - so I reckon it would take me nearly 52mins to run 5miles..

I actually did 3.5miles in 34.5mins - which would mean 5miles in 49 and a half mins - which would give GG 4 and a half mins to get home, put the kettle on and run me a bath...
