That bounce was ridiculous though. He was fine.

This match thread is missing some commentary. Goddamn whatever happened to take the site down.

To clarify:

Everton 1. BWFC 2!

Bogdan had a good game from what I saw, couldn't really be faulted for their goal. Back four looked a little shaky, not least Cahill. Petrov looked menacing. Reo-Coker commanding. Ngog looked like a donkey. But he scored.

Tim Howard opened the scoring with a long range kick caught by the wind; it caught everyone by surprise in bouncing and then soaring over the despairing leap of Bogdan.

Ngog leveled with some clever footwork in the box before a sweet left foot finish beat Howard.

With 12 minutes left, Gary Cahill showed the instincts of a striker to bury into the bottom corner after a free kick had been poorly cleared.

There was still time for Leighton Baines to bring a few Bolton fans about 10 years closer to the grave with a heart-stopping stoppage time free kick that thundered off the bar. But Bolton held out to take the win from behind.

Dunno. Everton have been pretty offensive for a long time
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Mental second half, felt sorry for Bodgan he did really well until the 'freak' goal, seemed to affect his confidence, so glad we won. Everton were awful for the home side, no adventure and play dire football. Cahill was immense and probably got his wage rise he wanted now, Eagles was doing my head in first half far to lightweight. Mavis, Moo and Reo Coker balance the team out much more as a three and Ngog scored a cracker, good stuff at last...

Good to see us win from a goal down instead of usual collapse.
Thought it could have been more apart from 2 great saves by Howard.

Great win - well done much better, there's hope yet !

Looked much more comfortable with the formation. passed the ball a bit better and played with a much quicker tempo and effort a lot of the time - credit where its due....well done OC & the team

Ngog's movement had them worried, mom of them dared to tackle Petrov they were shit scared of him and we fought for almost everything, 2 good goals couldm't ask for more and has anyone ever seen a matchball bounce like that before?

Didn't see that coming in a million years. Everything looked better. The system suited, N'Gog worked his bollocks off which he'll have to playing there, and Petrov and Eagles were keen to support. Having Muamba and Reo Coker breaking things up allowed Mark Davies to go off on his little runs which were more dangerous coming from the middle of the park. Defence was solid, and Bogdan very good. There was the odd mix up between him and defenders when coming for crosses, but that will improve as they play together. At least he came for them and got them.
