Angry at meself...
A gust of wind lifted up the garden umbrella, so I tried to close it; it's a wind up one.
Didn't work so I threw it down and it broke.
Partner was then in tears.

I honestly think the Australian tourism board should use you to advertise their country.
That way you could use the fee to pay your parking fine. And I suspect the tourism industry would be massively boosted.
If nothing else I suspect Australia would get a lot more visits from Bolton fans than it did previously....

That it took 12 weeks for someone to x-ray my dad and discover he had a fractured kneecap instead of a cartliage tear. He's been grafting and playing on that over all that time.
ffs.

They're going to remake Police Academy. Haven't they remade it twelve times already with the sequels?

Virgin Media Security. I use VM as an SP so sometime back downloaded their free security. It was always a pain being slow, but a couple of weeks ago I was advised (ordered?) to download the updated version. This also involved gettiing rid of my Spybot because it was a conflicting issue. This "new" version brought my pc to its knees and everything took an absolute age to come up. When I checked it in programmes it was using 252 mb of memory. I binned the lot yesterday and the difference is frightening. I'll live without it thanks and download the free AVG like the wife has. Absolute crap.

I don't know the specific software, but often AV software has settings that can be tweaked such as scanning frequency, script scanning etc.... to suit it to your requirements and machine's capabilities....TANGODANCER wrote:Virgin Media Security. Although actually dumping the lot is often the wisest move!

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Today? Well today I'm absolutely spitting. So angry I've had to write to the Afghan authorities to complain about the appalling lack of public conveniences in Khandahar province.
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.
Re: Today I'm angry about.....
Are you an American soldier complaining about the lack of public urinals, coz if so, dude, not cool!
TD, Virgin Media is SHIIITE. Their programme you have to install conflicts with EVERYTHING else.

Re: Today I'm angry about.....
not me - but an acquaintance of mine...

Arrived home to find our recyling bins had been emptied - we are back on to our regular day after the holidays - that's good.
Opened the door and found a "while you were out" card from Royal Mail to say they had put two parcels for me in the recyling bins for me - not so good!

The improbability factor in this story beggars believe. I suppose this means it must be true. Yeah, right.thebish wrote:not me - but an acquaintance of mine...

Was listening to a report yesterday. Apparently, insomnia affects one in ten people. You can seek out therapy for it if it continues.
I once slept through an earthquake.
