What are you watching tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Dear. God.
Poor bastard.

Never mind though, if you stick on that channel, it'll get round to Match of the Day later.
Only saving grace is Alex Jones.

Match of the Day can get fecked!

Acoustic night at the Bay Horse at the top of Adlington. Was fecking ace. Bout four guitars, classic songs and everyone having a laugh.

Yup. The 'Old Ones' are taking their time arriving, though.

How long have they being doing Acoustic Nights? The Bay was my favourite pub when I lived in the village up till last year. Great food and proper fires :oyea:

There is new management. Don't know how well you knew the people around the place, but Ken has gone to France, and Jan, the landlady is splitting her time between France and here. Their niece and her partner are managing. Was their idea, maybe a month/6 weeks ago. First time I'd been last night.

On the fire front, only one at the moment, as the chimney above the wood burner set on fire a few weeks back. The flue was glowing red

Sweet Jesus no, Aihm from Worsley don't you know.

Pru, we used to go in every other Friday or Saturday. We were the sad couple supping quietly and playing Scrabble in the front room with quiet spaniel under the table (Until that bloody wolf they had came downstairs!) :D

I'd probably recognise you if I saw you then! I've been going in Fridays since the day I turned 18 (and not a moment before), and worked Sundays, Wednesdays, all days over the years.

Odin (the wolf) has gone to France now :(. I miss that dog. Soft as shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite.

I thought "The Village" was bloody Little Lever?

Bloody obviously being a purely objective term.

Nope, it's Adlington. Royston Vasey supposedly based on the bottom end. The Village. Rumours N'Gog has moved in near St Joey's as well. Odd place. I live in Heath Charnock though. It is not Adlington. :D.

Moved from Westhoughton after my divorce and bought a house on Fairview at the posh end of the village :D (Clearly not as posh as Heath Charnock I admit.......)

Aaaah, I loved the village, Saturday afternoons in the Top Spinners for the footie, evenings in the Bay Horse, Sunday lunch in't Bottom Spinners after a canalside walk. Bliss.

Live on the coast now, but don't half miss it.

Paxman in Empire btw.

Paxman should be our president. No arguments to the contrary accepted.
