Its a good job you're young then.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Second best today, didn't deserve the win. Fantastic second by van Persie though.

Certainly we were poor in the first half, i think we perked up a bit in the 2nd half. Arguably, that wasn't a penalty but weren't they fantastic saves? I don't know how Chesney managed to keep out that rebound after the pen. Despite their pressure, Liverpool had to rely on an own goal to score and games aren't won by possession or chances on goal but goals scored and we scored 2 - making me a very happy gooner today.Annoyed Grunt wrote:Second best today, didn't deserve the win. Now i find myself in a most unfamiliar position - wanting a Man Utd win tomorrow...

No, Liverpool were the better team in both halves, but you put away your chances.Gooner Girl wrote:Certainly we were poor in the first half, i think we perked up a bit in the 2nd half. I didn't say they weren't - i just said we played slightly better in the 2nd half then the 1st (not hard) Helped that Szczesny played a blinder... I'd have had him as the MoM not RVP.Annoyed Grunt wrote:No, Liverpool were the better team in both halves, but you put away your chances.Gooner Girl wrote:Certainly we were poor in the first half, i think we perked up a bit in the 2nd half. Meh...you won and that's all that matters at the end of the day. May have been a different game if the penalty had been scored, so guess it should have been joint MoM's?Gooner Girl wrote:I didn't say they weren't - i just said we played slightly better in the 2nd half then the 1st (not hard) Helped that Szczesny played a blinder... I wouldn't bother, he'll be at Barca by the time your son manages it.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Was Jessie on the bench ??thebish wrote:well... I got him to say Moo last week while he was finishing Jessie's banana - so his preferences are clear....Gooner Girl wrote:Been trying to teach my son to say "robin van Persie" - at the moment he can only manage "brmm brmm" but I'll get there!
Anyway GG, it looks to me that he wants to be a Birmingham fan ... "brmm brmm". Don't wrestle with it, you have to let your children be what they are.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".
