Bolton reserves vs. Man City reserves

Post by Vazte20 » Tue Mar 06, 2012 9:58 pm

Well Owen Coyle was meant to be there in attendance tonight but I didnt see him, well if he was he has alot to think about...
Dont let the score line fool you, the score was very flattering to City. We missed a pen hit the crossbar twice and alot of players that should be knocking on the door without a doubt!
Eaves won everything in the air, power, pace (he was like a young Kevin Davis) the City defenders didnt seem to have an answer for him. Blakeman could of had a couple of goals if not for some good saves and the crossbar! Alonso and Riley strong and always looking to run the line and both put in a great shift. Suprised but Vela had abit of a quiet one and seem to sit in alittle deeper than usual.

all in all still a good performance although a result would of been nice!

With the current first teams performance i dont know how much longer these lads can be over looked with the exception of Riley (even that seems a long time coming)

Welcome!

Thanks for the report. Saw the 3-1 scoreline and thought it wasn't too bad, what with Tevez on the field 'n' all. Sounds like we gave them a battle.

Glad Alonso got 90 minutes too.

Yes the score line was not a true reflection at all, we dominated the whole game and as for Tevez, he was far too out of shape and was often dropping far to short... a couple of the lads showed him far too much respect and gave him too much time to turn.

Petrov had a good half a match, passing was crisp and seemed to be running injury free
