I COULD go today, but will probably save it 'til we get past Spurs.
Re: Wem-berr-leeee...
I'd go.
Unless we get Stoke in the semi. No way I'm going then.

She didn't fancy going with Mr Clapton & felt I would talk more sense.Gooner Girl wrote:CrazyHorse wrote:Never mind that, I want to know what bobo's playing at taking Mrs Clapton to Wembley in the first place...Gooner Girl wrote:How dare she have opinions about football! Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Oh I dunno. Difficult division to get out of, that.CrazyHorse wrote:I'd go. You've got to; you never know when we could be back there.
Although the way things are going, the League One playoff final in 2014 is a genuine possibility.

I'd go if we're going. I'd grumble about the prices, the transport, the stupidity of putting a stadium in the toilet that is Wembley, the view being worse than if I'd stayed at home, the beer being shit, and too many football big day outers being scrotes.
But you've got to be there to be able to grumble first hand about it in the pub a week later. So I'd go.

Agree mate, the semis should be at a ground that is inbetween both clubs. Saying if we played Liverpool in the semis it should be at Old trafford and not Wembley.Hoboh wrote:final only, semis tarnish the comp

Yeah but we won't make it to the final, look what happened to all those that said "I'll go if we get to the final" missed out on a great day at Wembley (except the match).Jokers in White wrote:Agree mate, the semis should be at a ground that is inbetween both clubs. Re: Wem-berr-leeee...
After last years debarcle no way I'm ever going to a Semi at Wembley, as stated earlier, Wembley should be for Finals. If it was a sensible location ie Old Trafford,Eithiad etc ... then defo, but last year was a waste of Money and time and proved that Coyle doesnt know which team to pick. When I heard the team news on the day it put an immediate dampner on it, and he's continued in the same vain. If we beat Spurs, i'll be supprised if we sell half our allocation

I'd go. If only to watch and laugh at people who've paid £7.50 for a sex aid in a roll, and see their faces when, under the laws of gravity, both ends of the sausage fall off at the same time.

Re: Wem-berr-leeee...
Every time they've reached Wembley in my lifetime I've gone. Most times the team doesn't even turn up (Bristol City, Tranmere, Watford), occasionally we've battled hard with little success (Liverpool, Villa) and once, FECKIN once, it all came together (Torquay).
And then there was Stoke
No way will I set foot in that place again - barring a freebie with transport thrown in
