There seems to be more than 10 people in white shirts.

Hanging on here, shame that the footballing gods have decided to deprive us of another player.

Living dangerously. Very fortunate to be 0-0. Bogdan's been outstanding. I don't think its nerves just think we're not pressing high enough up the field. Miyaichi has been well off the pace today. Assou-Ekotto and Bale have had him in his pocket all game. Think it comes down to the fact he's having to cover Ricketts' defensive duties instead of getting them up the pitch.
Every attack we have seems to be going through Eagles and Klasnic which have no real forward mobility. I'd like to see us having Eagles and Miyachi swap wings and let Eagles help out Ricketts as its not pace thats causing us problems from Assou-Ekotto so Miyaichi's pace seems to be wasted there. Lets have Miyaichi attacking Walkers gaps when he bombs forward and I think we'll cause them a few more problems.

Spurs: 12 shots, eight on target, sez Dowie

There's a time we'd have been happy with being in the same paragraph as "resilient"

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Meh we're doing our best to hang in there. Trouble is we have no outlet for the pressure. If we don't find one then Spurs will eventually score.
We've definitely lost quite a bit since Pratley has been off, couldn't have imagined saying that a few weeks ago.
I'm more bothered about Saturday and what we will do with no Pratley in there!

Assou Ekotto (so?) best player on the field so far. One of the calmest left backs I've seen, never missed a pass and has pace and tickery bombing forward. In truth,we moved tha ball about well enough till the final pass everytime, but not posing much threat yet. Time for KD to upse the defence a bit?

Alonso - playing worse than Robinson. And Spurs know it.

How much is that down to Eagles I reckon not keeping Alonso in his right position, after all it seems that Eagles wont be the best at telling the left back whether to press his man or stay his ground.Bruce Rioja wrote:Alonso - playing worse than Robinson. And Spurs know it.

This is where Owen Coyle needs to pull out one of his master class managerial team talks. Time to earn his keep here. He's done so well after a few abject performances in the FA Cup (Macclesfield Away for example) and turned it around, hopefully he can do it again.

Bad but not that bad,Spurs dominating, best not count our midfield ball winners,we miss Ngog as the ball forward never sticks and we're missing moo cos he's ace.Still I guess in the circumstances ream for Pratters may actually be helpful defensively.er but we will miss his goal threat. Hope it's not serious as we are running out of options and I dont want to see anything other than Wheater and Ream in central defense.Bruce Rioja wrote:Alonso - playing worse than Robinson. Wheater last 20min hatrick to seal it for us!

Alonso is getting torn a new one.
Still, he has got Modric running at him.
