Going up or Staying Down

Post by Gary the Enfield » Wed Apr 18, 2012 1:37 pm

In light of the current Gloom and Doom on here (and just to beat everyone else to it (and why shouldn't I it's just as much my forum as yours so ner)) I propose a new poll to see if we'll get promoted next season. 8)

Crack on.

I know, but this is my cunning plan to flush out those who REALLY think we'll be relegated. Shhhhhh, don't tell anyone.

Loving this P.M. function by the way. You can say pretty much anything you like. About anybody.

Goodbye UK for me a week today. Just hope we stay up, if for no other reason that it means I can see us on the telly every week...

Have a word whilst you're out there. Eddie Davies won't be here forever. We could be the richest club in the Championship.

We do have some links with Sharjah. Next door to Dubai, but I'm not going; there is no alcohol there

Stick with coyle or start again? I think coyle and these players can get back up especially with lee and Holden coming back but I'm less convinced than ever that once up coyle would have the first idea how to keep them up. His signings with a few exceptions have been poor, man management bad and organisation non existant so hardly a recipe for survival if we do get back up.

Surely there are more Rodgers' and Lambet's knocking about if Gartside can be arsed to do his homework properly

I think we've got to be careful with the whole 'we should be able to come back up'.

I'm far from convinced. I don't think we will have a big squad left, our best players will need to prove fitness again. Who is to say after all the setbacks he's had that Holden will come back? Or come back the same player? Or not be perpetually injured?

We won't have money, haven't got many youngsters coming through who are road tested at all.

Will lose 12 or so senior pros from the squad out of contract.

And will not necessarily see Muamba depending upon health and who knows which players we will have to sell to settle the balances.

And we have a poor manager.
