Where are you going tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

I don't say this very often but I was in Bolton yesterday. Saw the infamous Pack Horse and had a good day.

You lucky bastard. Seriously.

Bowfell and the Langdale valley are one of my favourite places in the world. Breathe deep and enjoy.

For a little extra effort you could tag Ullscarf as well, the fell at the very centre of the Lakes.

This was the Langdale Pikes as I walked through the valley just last week to the Old Dungeon Ghyll where I stayed for the night: It was pissing down then too but for these few seconds.

Or, to quote the window engraving in St Olafs church, Wasdale, "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my strength'.

Or to quote from St Worthy

"I shall lift mine eyes unto the hills from whence I shall order another round in the Old Dungeon Ghyll"

When i was at school all the books we read in English and the history of England gave the impression that the north was grey, bleak and industrialised. I know thats not strictly true - hence why i put the wink... Perhaps you had better take me on holiday up there Bish to educate me. Am sure they have some 5 star hotels somewhere! ;)

Aye, its all those dark satanic mill chimneys, woodbine fog and meat pie fumes. Add our flat-caps, clogs and whippets and its pretty grim up't north.

ps: Our football stadium is surrounded by hills and moorland. How green is yours?

I just love those hills and moors. Was in the Dales a couple of weeks ago. It's like life dripping back into your soul.

Great quote, thebish... Is it one of the psalms?
