When Rioch got us promoted to the 2nd division (or whatever it is that we'll be playing in next year) one of the 'bonuses' was that we could use squad numbers. Rioch's response went along the lines of - We'll be using nothing of the sort. In a game involving 22 men, nothing looks more redhicyaloos than number 34 being tackled by number 27. :D

I'm not gay or owt but I still love that man!
Yep, I am actually Bruce Rioch
Oh, crikey! I'd better just reiterate that I'm not gay or owt then! :P

Has he joined yet? Thought he was still on his jollies so the Ts remained uncrossed, etc.

Miknd, I still don't believe Wylde exists. He's like Bigfoot.

Incidentally, good free video of the new kit photo shoot on the bwfc website...with Chungy, Ricketts, N'gog, SKD, Eagles and Alonso all joining in and having a good old laugh.

It's been on Sky, and so forth, but ISTR from last week that it wouldn't be finalised/signed till this week, once he'd shaken the sand off his beach towel.

With the video of the new kit thats on the website, around 1:20, behind the photographer, is that training kit or the away kit?

Sort of related to squad numbers.. I like that in baseball the home team doesn't bother with putting the names of their players on the back of their tops, as it's assumed the locals don't need them.

Logic doesn't really follow in a 200 yard wide pitch where you can't see properly and a big screen telling you who is hitting but it's a nice touch anyway I think!

I'd like to think it's the training kit, it looks like there's a dark patch under the adidas logo, but I'm really not sure.

I don't really want it to be, I was hoping for something more adventurous lol.

I think that may only be some teams. Yankees and Red Sox come to mind. I'm pretty sure the Mariners have the names on their jerseys at home.

The Chicago Cubs have names on the back of the home shirts.
