I've started robbing someone else's from in there as payback.
Despite this I can maintain the moral high ground because although I may be a thieving twt, I'm not a thieving scouse twt.

Couple of days late; meant to post on Sunday and forgot. Got a Father's Day card off youngest son. It said: " Saw this terrific Fathere's Day Card and thought it was just right for you. But it was £3 so I got you this one instead".

Raised a grin.

Three children, three step children. Sum total: Cards off two daughters, text off one. Card off youngest son, text off eldest in California and a "forgot". Also got a card from my grand daughter who never forgets anything. :D

Sainsbury's Supermarket, Chester.
A brief overheard Conversation between a couple aged approx. early 30's.
Clearly a relatively new relationship.

She - " .... oh, these are good value (holding up a bag of mixed peppers, 'value' range) ..... do you like pepper soup ?"

He - a look of confusion .... " .... I dunno"

She - an equal look of confusion is returned. She puts the packet in the basket.

......

I see them again as we pass on the next corridor. He returns to her and shows her some product he is clearly delighted to have found. A double pack of Ginster's Pasties.

Again a look of confusion on her face as he develops a bit of a swagger

.........

5 minutes later, he is now carrying (as she only has a basket) two boxes of 15 'Gold Lagers'. She has just placed a 4 pack of diet tonic into the basket.

I'll let you know when the wedding is guys !!

6.45am in Chorlton as the Olympic Torch procession passes through. Thousands of people lining the streets in poor weather. Well done Manchester!

They'll have still been out "robbing each other" at that time in the morning. No surprise there was lots of them! :-)

I would go with the plural of the way some of the exchanges on this site are conducted with (although I don't think I've ever heard it used in the plural).
