Re: Home Page
I imagine the best option would be to just archive them, that's alot of work to just go ahead and delete but I agree with the sentiment.

This may seem to be a silly suggestion, but why dont you just alter the short cut in your favourites to take you directly to the forum index instead of the home page?

It would seem not to be the case.

Re: Home Page
Now hang on a minute - you lot are obviously good with computers - I hate the f*cking things having been born far too long ago when we didn't need the b*st*rds. If someone can give me idiot proof instructions I'll give this "favourites" thingy a go - otherwise I'll carry on trying not to look at the screen as I click on "The Trotters"

Re: Home Page
Click on "Board Index" at the top of the page. When it comes up, right click and then click on "Create Shortcut". Click on " Yes" and it will put a new shortcut in your desktop. When it's there, delete the previous one and away you go.Bruno3 wrote:Now hang on a minute - you lot are obviously good with computers - I hate the f*cking things having been born far too long ago when we didn't need the b*st*rds. Re: Home Page
Many browsers will also let you drag it onto a shortcuts bar, underneath the web address. Drag the icon to the left of the web address down onto the line under it. You can usually right-click on it to rename it something shorter.
Re: Home Page
Thanks to TD and Mr Sutton's Barneett - I'm about to give it a try. If my computer goes tits up I'll be coming for you (limping at a very slow pace)
