Nope. In days gone by, men could be accused of witchcraft just as often as women.
You should know that. Witch.

Or .... No, as they don't exist ???
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

whether you believe in what they "do" or claim to be able to do is another matter....

Way back, when our Personel Department was replaced by a female HR person and she brought in personal assessments (spelled harassments), witches were considered rather mild by comparison.

Over the last few decades my University has been obliged to recognize non-Christian religious holidays (and holy days) when making exam timetables, etc. Some five years ago Wicca was added to the acceptable religions. Wicca have witches - the daughter of a colleague is one (poor parent) but there are male ones too. So a witch is no different from a priest these days. Of course we still draw the line at HR types.

Canadania really does go overboard on it's desire to be "even-more-liberal-than-Sweden" doesn't it !?!?Montreal Wanderer wrote:Over the last few decades my University has been obliged to recognize non-Christian religious holidays (and holy days) when making exam timetables, etc. Some five years ago Wicca was added to the acceptable religions. It'd be easier if we just banned all religious holidays.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Perhaps ignored would be a more suitable description.

I'll give you a poor annual appraisal, review your job description, downgrade you and put you on a final warning.
... & appeals would be futile.
There. Sorted.

Canada's way too liberal to actually allow any of that human resource mumbo jumbo to work. They are only hired to make employers feel better about themselves. It's your final warning, I'd have put the cauldron on to boil already but it's a holiday, and thus must be respected.bobo the clown wrote:Yeah, big man ?seanworth wrote:Hey be careful what you say or I'll put a hex on you.bobo the clown wrote:Canadania really does go overboard on it's desire to be "even-more-liberal-than-Sweden" doesn't it !?!?Montreal Wanderer wrote:Over the last few decades my University has been obliged to recognize non-Christian religious holidays (and holy days) when making exam timetables, etc. Some five years ago Wicca was added to the acceptable religions.
