I'm going to cut it this way WW. You did a reckon on MD given 9 years at the head of a 4-5-1. Pissbollocks. More importantly you said you were a man of facts. Kevin Nolan's scoring record is better than MD's. Comfortably. Fact. However you cut it. Even if you cut it goals scored left footed on a Tuesday Nolan would probably win.

As for reckons. MD at his best, or Nolan? Not even a fecking question. Nobby every day of the week.

I made no comparison between the 2 players so I'm not sure why you bring this up. I stated the fact that Nolan scored 40 league goals for us. You may want that figure to be higher but it's not, not even if he's scored more than MD.

Don't take my word for it though, add up all the league goals you can, on any day, with head, arse, either foot or any other part of the body and see if you can point out where I "cut it".

When you fail at that, have a few more drinks.

You keep talking about what 'we' were talking about. You seem to be talking about what 'you' were talking about. Generally 'we' seem to be making a comparison between MD and KN. Relevant factors include Nolan's number of goals for us, in the Premiership generally, and similar tallies for MD. No one has doubted your 40 league goals. But if that is all we are doing, saying how many Nolan got and leaving it there, there isn't much room for a debate!

Kevin Nolan for us was a far better player, and a much bigger goal threat than Mark Davies has been up to now. Do you disagree?

As I understand it, it's the same as the Robinson deal was. Year loan that automatically turns into a permanent buy. I think it's a million up front then a further couple of million automatically next summer. Done like this for 'accounting reasons' for the selling club......
