About twenty past three I think.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Maybe in Australia, but the first definition of Witch in the Oxford English Dictionary is as follows:FaninOz wrote:Aren't all male witches called Warlocks!!!TANGODANCER wrote:We used to have a player called Paul Warlock who was a bit of a wizard and....oh,er wait a minute..Montreal Wanderer wrote:Over the last few decades my University has been obliged to recognize non-Christian religious holidays (and holy days) when making exam timetables, etc. Some five years ago Wicca was added to the acceptable religions. A witch can be either sex and can be good, although a warlock is always male and usually evil.Pronunciation: /wɪtʃ/
Forms: OE wicca, wycca, ME–15 wiche, etc. (as next).
Etymology: Old English wicca weak masculine (see witch n.2).
a. A man who practises witchcraft or magic; a magician, sorcerer, wizard.

Actually Wicca was recognized as a religion , and thus entitled to constitutional protection, over a quarter of a century ago in the US (that bastion of liberalism). See Dettmer v. Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

We don't take our lead from the US (except when the Conservative Party is in power), though not to the extent the UK does since we did not go into Iraq. I was merely pointing out that recognition wasn't just a matter of Swedish liberalism. As an atheist, it seems to me that Wicca is as much a religion as may other beliefs are. Nor is "It isn't. So There." a particularly compelling argument to the contrary.bobo the clown wrote:Well, it isn't. Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

Leon best for £3m. Not a bad deal imo. I'm surprised that any player though has opted to go there given the current upheaval.

Ah, you're a couple of months older than Dujon. '44 was obviously a good year. Celebrations have already begun here for that war. We are under the impression we won it - after all they only burnt York (now Toronto) but we burnt Washington. However, I now discover one of the US war aims was essentially to have an excuse to practice genocide on our allies the native Americans (which was also achieved).Gravedigger wrote:I was 68 in March and lookin forward to the 1812 war Centenary celebrations.
