Well this. And we still need to see if he can organise a team to defend from the front and look properly drilled.

But fook it he's been a disaster so far but if he learns from his mistakes and that's still an if, but if he does, then great.

I'll view the defence and see next season. We could play 11 centre halves and still concede too manygoals from set peices if we organise like last year.

Happywith lonegan - he sounds decent.

Happy we are looking at bruising midfielders, cos at the moment its Andrews, Mavies and Pratley. And two out of them cant play 442.

Bogdan needed competition to ensure he stays on his toes, and to ensure that we are not weakened if the injury bug bites. I wouldn't feel too confident if we had to depend on our 2 promising youngsters if that happened..

In Mills and Andrews we have players with strong characters, something we were lacking last season. We need to sign one more strong defensive midfielder as it does not seem likely that we will see Moo this season.

Compliment that with a couple young promising loans from the Premiership and I would think we will have a good season.
promising youngsters - isnt that Lainton about 24/25? i know hes been injured but i cant see him being part of Coyles plans personally... dosent the he drive round in a Bentley too!? f ucking tapped.

Yes HP, on account of it being the Twelfth day of the Tenth month. Thus keeping faith with the rules of mathematical progression ; viz. days>months>years.

Y'know, like normal people would do.

Just 'do the maths' ! :P

Bolton Wanderers reject Saint-Etienne move for David Ngog?
Bolton Wanderers have reportedly rejected an approach from Saint-Etienne for striker David Ngog.

The Ligue 1 outfit were said to be hopeful of bringing the 23-year-old Frenchman to Stade Geoffroy-Guichard this summer following the Trotters' relegation from the Premier League.

However, Bolton boss Owen Coyle has flatly dismissed Les Verts' interest in Ngog and he is determined for the player to remain at the Reebok Stadium, according to the Daily Star.

Ngog, who joined Bolton for a fee of £4m from Liverpool in August 2011, made 33 league appearances last term, scoring three goals.

We had virtually no midfield presence last year.
We did for half the season.. He still didn't bother using him when he should've.

If he wants to go and they give us four million, despite the fact I think he could do well in The Championship, I'd take it. Anything less and they can get bent.

They can just get bent anyways. I've not seen any strikers out there that I would rather take that we could afford and would want to come.

Ngog not being a striker makes selling him tempting

Davo and Ngog up top, just doesnt scream goals to me.

I'm more in the 'Let's wait and see' camp of thinking. Jason Roberts managed 12 goals in the 2nd half of the season, last season. It can happen, we just have to believe

I wouldn't be too unhappy with keeping N'gog, but if we offered what we paid for him, I'd probably sell - even if he had a good season next season, should we happen to go up, we know we'd be looking forward to another 3 goals...

I guess we shouldn't completely write off Tom Eaves yet, would of been playing more football for the first team last season if it wasn't for that injury in pre season!
