Ben Haim

What did you think of this guy?

Personally I think he is a great signing. Very much deserves to be in the side at the moment. Thought he had a great game and very rarely put a foot wrong.

Can he form a good partnership with Jaidi?

He's definitely improving by the game. He looks a lot more comfortable at centre-half and he was impressive today. His only problem is his pace really, work on that and he'll be a great defender for us. I see him as a back-up to Bruno still, but he's given us the depth in defence, which we need. He can be a good long-term replacement for Bruno when he retires.

Centre Halfs are not usually known for their turn of pace are they? The only reason Haim and Jaidi were caught out today on a number of occasions were becuase we were chasing the game and pushing further up the field.

Agree I think yesterday via radio commentry and seeing the highlights I have I though Ben Haim and Jaidi and Ccesar did excellently as Rooney and Smith didn't seem to get a look in.

Sam should play Hunt, Ben Haim, Jaidi and Barness against Blackburn but me thinks N'Gotty will be back along side Jaidi much to my dismay.

Don't feckin understand it.

Cesar and Ben Haim were both playing great and then they're suddenly both dropped - and not even to the bench! Heirro is recalled to the bench after not even featuring in the last two squads and Barness is also recalled after his strange omission from Utd despite a fabulous game against City.

Beggar's belief.

Hierro was the only player in our team able to make a 6 yard pass TO FEET.. We struggled to do that today..

Thought this thread would surely be about the rooney incident. the tart. But him and barness at least (maybe Cesar but not for riccy) should all be in that team by the sounds of things....but once again Big Sam knows best. He's severly twisting my melon at the mo.
