Ha ha not quite. Stabbed myself rather than sliced. Bit weird looking at my finger with a knife sticking out of it thinking "Shite, I'm gonna have to pull that out now".Bruce Rioja wrote:With added finger?Bijou Bob wrote:Tonight, it's Lamb, California Prune and butternut squash tagine. Maybe you know about em, but the wife just brought in some Crispy Smoked Bacon Strips from M & S. Apparently grand with salads etc. Just had some egg mayonaise sandwiches with them on and they were bloody good. On offer at 3 boxes for £6. Quite a lot in a box. Get a yes from me.

They are a bargain too. Especially when they have stuff like whole chickens in it, where you can probably squeeze two meals out of it, or at least a meal and a nice sandwich for the next day!Gary the Enfield wrote:BWFC_Insane wrote:M&S food is belting......worth every penny!

Is that what floats your boat? Don't think they let people like you into M&S sorry. You might frighten the elderly ladies!Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Head, legs, feathers?BWFC_Insane wrote:They are a bargain too. Not so much tonight as this afternoon. Off to Manchester to do a bit of shopping, but mainly for a few drinks and a bit of grub. Alberts's Shed has 2 courses for £10.95 which looking at the menu looks pretty good. Any further suggestions?

^ We nearly ended up at Albert Shed this afternoon but instead are going to Jamies Italian. We've had it booked for weeks but at the last minute, late yesterday, needed to add an extra person, which Jamies couldn't accommodate as they are 'over booked.' A call to Alberts and they could fit us in at 5pm but not 6 so the extra person has dropped out and we stick with the original plan. The restaurant business is booming in Manchester!

Is booking required at Albert's for lunch? Cheap deal 12-4pm at a decent place, so i'm now thinking it might be necessary.clapton is god wrote:^ We nearly ended up at Albert Shed this afternoon but instead are going to Jamies Italian. Beautiful day like today they'll have tables outside, BP. They're always first-come-first-served, but even if you have to wait it's no hardship having a drink by the canal whilst you wait for one. Have a good afternoon. Can someone remind me again why I decided to go to the match?!Burnden Paddock wrote:Is booking required at Albert's for lunch?
