I have had a mobile for at least 15 years and you know what, I have never once thought, "I wish my phone would be able to view an Excel spreadsheet".CAPSLOCK wrote:Tell ya what, red nose, try and view an excel doc with a Blackberry

You've never lived until you've experienced the delights of stunning your workmates by banging off a quick spreadsheet. I know, I did it. My boss, the next morning, just asked "Why?" and I dissolved into giggles that lasted for hours. A truly liberating experience.malcd1 wrote:I have had a mobile for at least 15 years and you know what, I have never once thought, "I wish my phone would be able to view an Excel spreadsheet".CAPSLOCK wrote:Tell ya what, red nose, try and view an excel doc with a Blackberry

We had terrible problems with microsoft exchange email and calendar sync to Blackberry where I worked last. Terrible.
Our IT dept hated them, cos every 5 minutes they'd be trying to fix someones phone when the who calendar had been lost, or worse still the sync was lost at the calendar still there but two seaparate copies, so people have meetings spread across two.
Same things happened with emails.

I'd leave it spotty... BWFCi won't rest until he's been able to tell us not only how fab his phone is - but that it is also better than yours - and that if you are happy with your phone - then you are wrong and you shouldn't be - because compared to his phone it is utterly crap.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:I think you just had problems syncing brain to fingers there me old cockerBWFC_Insane wrote:We had terrible problems with microsoft exchange email and calendar sync to Blackberry where I worked last. i think his frustration stems from folk dismissing the iPhone having never had one. Were still to find anyone who has used a blackberry, android and an iPhone for a certain amount of time, who dosent class the iPhone a league above the rest?

Or perhaps BWFCi doesn't really care what phone you've got, doesn't give a rats ass about any brand, but was just stating an issue he's previously experienced with a particular make of phone, that Caps also appears to be experiencing currently.thebish wrote:I'd leave it spotty... The ironic thing is that it seems those people who are "anti brand" are getting their knickers firmly in a knot whereas the rest of us don't give a shit either way.
Couldn't care less who makes my phone, tablet, PC, TV etc I'll buy what suits my needs best at the time. And have done for a long time now.

Hate to say this General, but I've had an Android, an iPhone, and currently a Windows phone (not had a Blackberry), and I much prefer the current Windows phone.General Mannerheim wrote:i think his frustration stems from folk dismissing the iPhone having never had one. But i've never had an iphone, so can't compare the two.
My first mobile had a pully-outey aerial which made me look cool
