What are you playing tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

I know this theory is bllx .... but here you go.

U2 - Joshua Tree
The Who - Who's Next
Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers
Simon & Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Waters
Paul Simon - Gracelands
Wishbone Ash - Argus
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon

Oh, I'm aware you'll say other decent stuff which followed ... & you'll be right, but really, this was what really counted.
:conf:
Well ... you see ... one was as a duo.

The other was a solo album.

It's not especially complicated.
That would work if you hadn't said it was 'unbetterable' and they should 'just stop' :conf:. Either he should have stopped or he shouldn't.

I'm glad I said it was a bllx theory, otherwise people might go round splitting hairs at almost 3 in the morning !!

S&G did stop. S went on to do new stuff, as did G.

A bit too precise for you ??

Any examples of your own would be most welcome. If only so I can kick holes in them. Sheesh. The young of today.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I'm glad you concede :D.

And I don't have any bllx theories, I'm afraid, well, not that don't include the words 'Gary', '12', 'Lifetime', 'Enfield' or 'swallow'!

That's another one. They never bettered it and kept going for decades.

I'm flipping glad Pink Floyd didn't stop at Dark Side! Animals and Wish.... are immense! Everything after that magical trio is either Pure Rog Ego Shit (Wall, Final Cut) or Namby-pamby Gilmour Gubbins (Lapse, DBell).

Well ... when you say "new" ..... they all sound exactly the same to everyone other than Enfield White

Listening to a couple new Zappa purchases 'Make a Jazz Noise Here' and 'London Symphony Orchestra Vol I & II'. I imagine there'll be a few more on their way since they've begun re-issuing the back catalogue.

I think you'll find I'm critical of their output since 1983 but prior to that you'd be hard pushed to find any rocker, worth his salt, without a patchouly soaked patch on his denim sawn-off.

And LLS? Game on.
