Do yourself a favour, and think before you post. It might stop you coming across as thick. Booing after a performance like that = not necessarily constructive, but understandable. Booing at half time when it's 0-0 = bone-headed stupidity.

Surely even you must understand the difference?

You're using an argument brought up in the Charlton match-thread about booing. Nobody had mentioned booing in this thread at all until you yourself brought it up.

A manager that regularly puts a team out with a player like that upfront is unlikely to do well. As you well know recent stats are showing us that.
Well yes - they're also showing us that Eagles played in all those games too - perhaps he's at fault instead? Or maybe Bogdan, who's played in them all too?

I have no problem with shipping Davo out in Jan (along with N'gog and probably Sordell too for my money), using it as a case in point when we've conceded 5 away from home, doesn't convince me though - looks like it didn't convince many others either...
In my opinion we're playing with 10 men with Davies. He'll get the occasional goal and be SKD again but it's not good enough.

As an aside, can you use you wPad and let me know what KD's average league goals per game is for us?

WHO WAS AT FAULT FOR THE GOALS? They said ZK for the first, muddy pitch, but didn't hear anymore

When he's had 2 seasons to assemble a squad. Just like you did.

As some expert once said...

How stupid do you feel for defending this manager?

On a scale of 1-10 like?

Just interested.

It's already Dougie's fault, Owen. He should be doing better. But you left him with a lot of shite to clear up. So if you don't mind, kindly feck off while we're trying to deal with your mess.

KNOW people won’t show much sympathy for footballers over Christmas but, believe me, it can be a really difficult time of year.

I’m happy to say this will be the first time in eight years that I get to spend the holiday with all my family and we’re doing it traditionally. I won’t be doing much of the cooking, but I’ll certainly be doing a lot of the eating.

It is a time to be together but when you are playing, it can be a really tough time of year.

You know that no sooner have the kids unwrapped all their presents that you’ll be off down the road for training.

If you get to nip back and have some Christmas dinner then by the time the Queen’s Speech comes on, you might be back out again to travel to wherever you are playing on Boxing Day and stay at the team hotel.

People might say “well they earn so much money” but for the lads with kids and wives, you naturally want to spend time with them. It is tough when you have to ignore everything and go and do your job.

I intend to enjoy the next couple of weeks, hopefully watching us string some more wins together and go into 2013 climbing up the table.

So to all the readers of The Bolton News, have a safe and happy Christmas. All the very best.

Hear that noise? Fecking smallest violin in the world playing, that.

What a load of fecking bollocks. There's people who work over Christmas, taking two years to match their weekly salary, doing absolute shit jobs that could only dream of being a footballer, who work around Christmas and still get to spend time with the family and it isn't a problem.

Oh dear, it must be so unbelievably hard for them to do the job that they love, to go in and train on Christmas day and then play a match on boxing day.

I'd do it for free and not complain, seriously. I'd go in on Christmas morning and train for the morning then get home to the family, no problem.

Bollocks like that is no excuse for conceding five goals against a team in the relegation places.

He's still doing considerably better than the last wanker. Even with the shithouses the last guy signed!

Wake up, the squad he inherited is far too good to be conceding five goals against Peterborough. Even Dougie said that he didn't need to change the personnel, just the mentality.

We'll be in the same position in two years as we are now.

Well thats always the default excuse for the usual suspects, but it's starting to wear very thin.

Agreed Peter, let's give them a big round of applause. Five goals against a team in the relegation places, I mean that deserves an applause in itself for being shit beyond what I thought was possible. Imagine if we didn't, they'd be so upset over Christmas, crying into their thousands and thousands of pounds salaries.
