Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

GG was playing football so didn't reply straight away. I guess a good season for me as a gooner would be top 4 finish (above spurs) and some kind of cup. Not had a good season for a long time.

Of course I'm bothered - I just don't think we have much chance of winning it with the current squad. We are in a far lower league financially then Chelsea, city etc and that shows. Not that it's our only problem, but let's face it, city were nowhere before the financial input they had and going a way back same applied to Chelsea too.

But, the financial side....isn't that something to do with paying for the new ground?Gooner Girl wrote:Of course I'm bothered - I just don't think we have much chance of winning it with the current squad. I don't think so. Not really. It might be trotted out as an excuse but I think there's many other reasons why we don't compete financially with the other big clubs.

Wow, £62 !!!Manchester City have returned approximately 900 tickets for their match at Arsenal on Sunday. The category A tickets were priced at £62.

I had no intention of going but will now stamp my feet in indignation about the price and pretend that was the reason why I shall not be attending.bobo the clown wrote:Wow, £62 !!!Manchester City have returned approximately 900 tickets for their match at Arsenal on Sunday. Yeah, our tickets are classed as category A B and C now depending on the club we are playing, so popular games - like against the big teams and spurs are in the £60s for a ticket whereas you could watch us play west brom for £24 and Everton, say, from around £40. Your lot would be category C so you wouldn't have the worry of expensive tickets if you ever played us againbobo the clown wrote:Wow, £62 !!!Manchester City have returned approximately 900 tickets for their match at Arsenal on Sunday. Fans not happy about the ticket pricing though (but then noone is about much hats going on at Arsenal at the moment)

Well yes, but just because City's a big game for you, what makes you think you are for them?Gooner Girl wrote: Yeah, our tickets are classed as category A B and C now depending on the club we are playing, so popular games - like against the big teams and spurs are in the £60s

There are few things more entertaining than sitting quietly in an Arsenal pub spitting distance from the ground listening to their fans as they lose. Now all football fans tend to be occasionally one-eyed where their team is concerned, but they are something special. Mike Dean getting dog's abuse. If anything, the only thing he could be criticised for was the Kompany red (I think it was harsh, but can see why he gave it), yet you'd think from the Arsenal fans he was auditioning to get the Howard Webb derby gig.
Every time an Arsenal player gets tackled, they scream for a foul. Every time an Arsenal player gives it away they call them a cant. Amazing fun.
